Hobie Kopczynski, 18, passed away suddenly on Sunday, March 30, 2014. Hobie was a native and lifelong Seaford resident. He played center for the York-Seaford Bulldogs, Yorktown Middle School, and York High School football teams. Hobie’s father, Barry was a coach and former President and Football Coordinator of the league, his Mother Kathy was a Team Mom, and his little sister Landyn was a Bulldog Cheerleader. As a center, Hobie started every play with his head down, and finished with his head up protecting his teammates so they could move forward.  He will be remembered fondly as a loyal and goodhearted friend and teammate.
